Did any of Aly Sinclair’s friends and acquaintances in Catholic school ever anticipate that one day she’d be one of the sexiest transgender porn stars? We’re not sure, but it’s clear there was always something different about this proud Halloween-born hottie, who describes herself as a “Spoiled Princess who got kicked out of the castle.” That explains the look of mysterious mischief in Aly’s beautiful, dark eyes! She’s well-read, likes punk and horror movies, and watches cartoons including “Venture Brothers” and “Metalocalypse.” Aly is as cool and smart as she is beautiful and we think you’re going to love her, assuming you aren’t already one of the xPeeps lucky enough to have made her acquaintance.

This wayward princess has had lots of fun doing those things that got her kicked out of the castle. We know porn fans who would give up the crown and a royal roof over their heads for the chance to fuck Amber Rayne. Some of the best aspects of working in porn for Aly have been the girls, “getting to play with some of the most awesome girls in the industry like Amber Rayne, Courtney Taylor, Krysta Kaos, and one of the girls I have worked with longest, Mandy Mitchell. Each is so much fun and challenging and hot!” Aly says. “I was Catholic School educated all the way through college… I have a ton of pent up sexual frustration with none of the guilt!”

While a lot of performers might be coy about what they do and call themselves models, you won’t hear that from Aly. She is never one to gloss over the reality of what she does. “Yeah, I’m not a trained model. I’m knowledgeable about the sex, which thankfully has its own niche… And, honestly, I try to be a better model with each set. So, keep an eye out for what happens next!”

Aly is also not going to front when it comes to the different terms for her gender. Out of all the words formale-to-female transitioning, she’d rather refer to herself as transgender. “Alas, Transgender isn’t salacious enough to sell the porn. And, you know, I’m not going to battle it for now,” Aly says. (She considers sex reassignment surgery “an option down the line,” and she’s “tremendously excited” to have it someday, but for now she’s happy with her life.) “T-Girl is fair, but no one will really know what that means in public discourse. So, I tend not to say that as I would just have to clarify with another term. The standards that are publicly recognized for porn, being Shemale, Tranny, etc., are what they are. It’s what you do with it to make your own mark that counts. I just say I do porn and leave it at that… I highly dislike terms like Shemale, S/him, Tranny, ladyboy… really anything that connotes ‘boy.’ I find it distasteful. Though for porn, one must set humility aside and just have fun. Also, when I shoot for another company, I know they have final say over how the content is advertised. It’s to be expected that whatever they choose will be the most provocative in any and all its forms. So, I don’t get upset anymore. It’s all part of the fun.”

There are several companies that are known for transsexual content and Aly has worked with some of the best. “I love shooting for Evil Angel and Joey Silvera. Devil’s Film has two fun directors in Tom Moore and Goodfellas Productions. And, Kink has always treated me very well too. Though, I appreciate and am very thankful for all the companies I have worked for.” Even when the cameras are off, Aly has enjoyed being around her XXX coworkers. “The coolest things for me are going to Joey Silvera’s or having a cupcake and a coffee with him at Starbucks. Or, going to Tom Moore’s to chill or golfing with Steve from Devil’s. It’s the times when we get to look at it all and I enjoy what I do all the more.” We often notice that performers view other people in the business as kind of an adopted family, and Aly seems to back up that impression. They’re the only people who understand what it’s like. “It’s a Scarlet Letter of sorts that some folks will have it in for,” Aly says of the outside world’s view of porn. “I gave up caring about those folks and their opinions a long time ago. I found it’s so much better to focus on being happy. And thankfully I have found that, personally and in business, by forgoing caring about the feelings of others on what I do with my life.”

This industry she calls home is one increasingly jeopardized by policy makers and pirates. “Porn is in trouble only because the world economy is bad,” Aly says. “It’s just a byproduct. People still love their porn. But, there are other payments that take precedence these days. I recognize that. If they like what I do, I still like them to show their appreciation so I can continue to shoot for them! I have a lot of ideas to do! And living in Hollywood there’s so many hot people to do them with. I think with continued connections with the people who enjoy us, and an interesting product we’ll make it through… If we as an industry continue to push and give thoughtful, creative, well shot scenes and listen to the wants and needs of our community, our viewers will stay, and will be staunch supporters of their favorites.”

As for the political enemies of porn, Aly is equally eloquent and committed to fighting back. “I will become more involved in industry dealings in the future. Between Cal/OSHA and religious brow-beaters, porn has many foes. To protect ourselves we have to protect each other.” Aly has written for various publications, including FreeSpeechRevolution.com, Altpornstar.com, and SexGenderBody.com. Putting her natural way with words and her college English degree to good use, she eloquently advocates for the right to sexual free expression.

Contrary to the outsiders’ view that XXX performers do it for lack of other options, Aly is happy to be in porn. She doesn’t like to think about what she’d be doing otherwise, but not because it was her only choice. “I have a couple options, but none I want to pursue in the least. I taught golf, wanted to teach English but I have to go back and get a Master’s Degree. I like IT and video production. Probably would go into one of those.” We think Aly would look cute in a little golf skirt, don’t you? She’s a total tech nerd who loves her Mac Pro and her new Canon video camera. “I can’t wait till you see what we are doing with it!” Aside from those tech toys that help her make and edit movies, Aly also likes PlayStation and even lists her PlayStation Network profile information on her xPeeps profile.

As a techie and a skilled communicator, Aly is a natural on the social networking sites that have become essential for success in porn. “Girls feature dance at clubs and interact with folks. While I don’t do that, I would say doing social network is akin to dancing around the net, flirting and saying hi. And, making friends along the way. Most folks just want to know you’re real and actually enjoy what you do and I respect that.” A big part of Aly’s social networking is right here. “xPeeps was one of the first sites I created a profile. It was MySpace, then xPeeps! I liked the site from the start as you could tell who was real and I enjoyed seeing what they were doing. It was fresh and new folks, which I love! I always like to keep an eye on who comes to the forefront next. And xPeeps gives me a great way to do that.” Aly frequents xPeeps to make both friends and contacts. “I’ve been on xPeeps with these kind folks since the beginning. We’ve seen so many people change over the years and having fun along the way. Keep it up! I do watch you out there! I’m looking at what you’re doing!
